Singapore Wyckoff & Volume Spread Analysis

Since hankore has some fierce news coming up...I shall give my 2 cents worth. However price was held steady @ 4.8 cents and prices had shot up since. WRT to the news today, i think it could go go either way. (got say like never say laaaa...) But with the news coming out at decent market sentiment, we might see more upside ahead in the future/tmr. Coming next year, I will be more active in my personal stuffs(trading and studies) and I wouldn't be that active in the forum, prolly a weekly update or so. Only 3 charts today showed decent setups.. First is ChinanTown. Unionmet SoupRestaurant has very strong fundamentals and company has been buying back their own shares for very very very very long....do look at it...

Below are some scans on the US stock. Criterias are stock's volume above 200% as compared to previous day. It seems to me that the US market functions much more efficently than our local market. Probably due to its sheer size and participants, wyckoff and VSA principles are more "correctly" exhibited. I will be sharing more US stocks updates in the near future as I believe that it is much easier to trade, especially so when STI is so lagging against the other indexes. So it has been announced, Fed will decrease its bond purchase by 10billion per month. Market reacted positively and DJ was up close to 300 pts ytd...a swan song for Bernake?hahaha For our local market, STI today reaches a high of 3083 and is trading at 3064 now. A 20 pts difference from its high at the moment. Profit taking? Or could it be more of a seasonality issue? December is usually a very slow month with weak liquidity. Was this tapering anticipated? The tapering turns out better than most of the analyst/fund managers has anticipated. They probably anticipated a heftier cut which after the announcement, caused the DJI to soar. However, Tapering is the first step towards raising interest rate....Tapering meant that the economy is recovering and the central bank is willing to taper and took out this artifical support(in near future) Is rising interest rate a concern? As fed has stated that they are looking to lower unemployment rate to 6.5% before any rates hike...

Good afternoon all, It is been awhile since I got the luxury to update my blog in the afternoon due to security reason. Nonetheless, below are my takes on the market. We have a FOMC meeting this week. Time flies ...3 months ago we were still worrying abt raising debt ceiling and the concerns of tapering and here we are back again..at the mercy of Mr."Hor Chiu" aka Bernake. Below are the chart of DJI, pretty much self explanatory. Long term uptrend..both fundamental and technical are very much in tune. As long as the music, the tapering doesn't stop, equities will continue to remain bullish. The million dollar question is "when are they stopping/tapering". Whatever Bernake is going to say will have a huge impact in the market. For traders, it will be best to stay away from the volatility..unless u are playing some condor spreads etc. But for long term investor, we do see DJI resting at a comfortable level at around 15700. This was the level that DJI bro...

Below are the picks for next week. Stocks below are not any trade calls, just highlighting them as they shows very nice VSA/wyckoff setup. Mermaid and EYS looks the best out of the lot.  Blumont looks screwed due to the bad/negative sentiment surrounding the stock. But shakeout has already happened on Monday...but on Tuesday, we saw a potential upthrust might be invalidated very soon. ThBev, will it rebound together with our local STI index? Biosensor doesn't look pretty fundamentally, KIV till further noticed.

I read this from a site some where and I thought I must really share it. . Lucky to know a couple of real traders making consistent profit, one in an equity market another in FX. Both of them have reached step 4 not because they have the holy grail system, but they are good because of the discipline they have. Anyway, both of them uses vsa system. While the equity sifu probably doesn't really know what is VSA ( he is a hokkien ah beng) he oftens uses terms that we used in VSA while talking with him. Such irony...
